Scope of Work:
The space was originally a warehouse that was a complete demolition to the interior.
New Offices, front desk area, conference room, Café Barcelona and new Restrooms were created in the space. The building was built in 1948 and the design concept was to reuse materials, architectural features, and other materials in keeping with the history of the building. We accomplished this by reusing heart pine wood on the hall ceiling, stone flooring laid in a brick pattern. Exposed brick, high ceilings, bronzed light fixtures, and cherry wood custom built-ins. Granite counter tops, custom painted murals, custom painted interior doors, and operable transoms in restrooms. The waiting area was designed with a home library in mind including a gas fireplace, mantel, bookcases, leather chairs, and area rug. Custom framed artwork including a drawing of the architectural sections and exterior elevations of the original construction drawings.
